omg...like totally awesome..funjet rocks...

i barely got any sleep last night with the storm and the fact ashlyn had to sleep with us because she was scared to death (the electricity went out...god forbid her nightlight not work)...i'm grouchy...i had to make the long drive to fort worth...i didn't feel good...my windshield has a chip in it (stinking storm stirring up all the dirt and debris making the roads...at least in fort worth...a pain in the ass to drive on)...i had to make the long drive back to the house...ugh...ashlyn was a tad bit on the whiney side since she had decided to hold in her poop all day (yes, i know...tmi...whatever)...i finally made it home (yay...thank goodness...peace and tranquility...though i have to say...i actually used my ipod in the car today and enjoyed singing along to my random shuffle selections...but that's beside the point...continuing what i was saying...) i went outside to check the mail...hmm...a letter from funjet...cool..maybe they're telling me thank you for using them...maybe giving me the inside scoop on a trip or something...who knows...so i open it up...look at the letter...it says something about "our sincerest apologies...yadda yadda yadda...sorry for your inconveniece with the whole layover thing...yadda yadda...here are some vouchers to make up for the inconvenience..." woo hoo...hell, we weren't even really that inconvenienced...ryan and i both agreed we've been inconvenienced waaaaaaaay worse...i thought it was really great of them to offer us the travel vouchers...i mean when the whole thing was happening they offered us a meal voucher (which wasn't great because there was no selection at the airport but at least it was something unlike a few other carriers we've flown who we've been delayed with who didn't give us squat...or gave us one slice of pizza and a swig of coke)...not only that but the funjet people (with the help of our allen friends) a-ok'd us returning to the hotel for the day...and even, at some point, made arrangements for everyone else to head out to another hotel to relax until the plane arrived...so now funjet you'd like to cap it off with some travel vouchers!!??? awesome...i'm off to look at funjet's website right now...maybe we'll be making another trip sooner than we think....
