....thanks for the allergies dad...

my poor baby was officially diagnosed with bad seasonal allergies today...i knew it was coming...for the last year and a half everytime ryan's allergies started up ashlyn would be right behind him with the runny nose and watery eyes...we had been self diagnosing up until today...thinking we could get by on, first benadryl and then claritin...but today was the last straw...she had been with the wet crusty eye since wednesday and the claritin really wasn't doing much to help her out...her eyes were getting worse and her nose was as runny as ever...so i finally broke down and made her an appointment...we went in and she is now officially on nose spray (which has already helped tremendously) and zyrtec (which we have yet to purchase because the combination of her nose spray and the claritin have worked wonders)...i guess at her 4 year check up we're going to talk about how well it's working and whether we should stick to it or not...luckily she doesn't have to take it all the time...only when her allergies flare up...and she actually doesn't mind taking the spray...so hopefully this will be the solution to all of her allergy problems...
