yeah baby the magic jack is here...

lol...now don't you go thinking all dirty on me (as many of you already have and that's what makes you my friends in the first place...) it's a piece of VOIp equipment...you know...voice over ip...like using your computer for phone access...since we don't have a home phone and i've been eating up minutes on my cell like they're smores at a campfire (that i'm at) i decided to give this little "magicjack" a try...after reading the reviews i figured it could go one of two ways....work wonderfully or flop miserably...isn't that the way it always works??? but for $20 a year (that's right...i said a YEAR) and a 30 day free trial i was willing to give it a shot....i just got it in today and after a little finagling (that's so not spelled right but oh well) i got everything set up...i made a phone call to ryan and it worked wonderfully...though ryan got onto me for burning up his minutes (since we talk cell to cell for free)....oh well...then i called a friend and it sounded quite choppy (i have a feeling it might have something to do with ryan's crappy call of duty game that is driving me CRAZY)...so i guess i'll give it a few days and see how it does...if it does great i'll make sure to let everyone know...
