3rd attempt at a bday cake...

i've been really unstimulated creativity wise lately....i guess needing to dabble in a new creative realm...since i really enjoyed making ashlyn's birthday cake (okay, maybe enjoyed isn't the word...more like love/hate relationship) i decided a few weeks ago to make ashlyn's teacher a birthday cake...here is the final product....

if you can't tell...it's a popcorn bag with popcorn overflowing out of it (excuse the cheesy board underneath...i forgot to cover it up with foil)...i thought it turned out pretty decent...though i can promise you i will NEVER try to make marshmallow fondant again...as a matter of fact this pretty much finished up my interest in the cake decorating world...while it was fun...and i would do it again for special occassions (aka ashlyn's birthday)...i don't see myself taking classes anytime soon to make myself any better...lol
