IT'S A SPARKLY LIFE!: weekly going ons and other random stuff...

lol...stuff...that reminds me of the "buff and stuffed" jenifer and i are going to open...sorry...my mind wandered....

anyhoo....let's see...this past week has been somewhat decently filled with activities...this past saturday we, of course, ran out and got ashlyn her hello kitty from build a bear...afterwards, we headed out to stonebriar to try our hand at ice skating...ashlyn did fairly well...didn't like skating by herself at ALL...but did enjoy whizzing by at crazy unsafe-to-mama- speeds with daddy...(i think anything faster than a slow crawl would have made my heart race)...i, on the otherhand, was having a blast and became way overconfident when the toe pick on my skate brought me back down to reality....we skated for about an hour (all our feet could take) and then headed upstairs for a carousel ride and then ice cream...then it was time to go...we headed over to the neighbors and hung out for awhile...that pretty much sums up our saturday...more exhausting fun on sunday...the neighbors still had the bounce house/water slide from the party they had the day before...so they blew it back up and off went ryan and ashlyn (oh yes, this was after we hung out in our pool all morning...from which i was already completely exhausted)...they played for at least a couple of hours...i don't think i've seen ryan so tired in my life....he is creeping up on 30 you know...so after a bit we headed over to diane's for dinner...we did a few rounds of "scarred for life" (diane, ryan was so just joking...i promise)...came up with names for our new chain of coffee bars (hence, buff and stuffed.....okay okay...it wasn't originally a coffee bar but whatever...it has since evolved)...oh and at one point ryan said he liked billy rae cyrus's mullet back in the day (lol....he was so just kidding about that too...though i bet at some point in ryan's life he had one....oh..speaking of that...totally off subject...but aly...tell dathan it's okay...ryan had a duster too!!! lol) anyway...so that was about it for sunday...monday was boring as usual...finishing up laundry...that's about all i remember...and yesterday we had our weekly library trip....afterwards, we had to take ashlyn's new hello kitty back to BAB for immediate life saving surgery on her foot...(ashlyn found a little microscopic hole that required serious attention)...after we knew hello kitty was out of the woods we headed over to CEC to meet some friends...at the CEC we encountered some bullies who tried to get the best of ashlyn and her friend...but our wonderfully awesome kids held their ground and shooed the bullies off...i was so proud of the two of them..after we got home ashlyn's allergies kicked in...her eyes itched...they were almost swollen shut...poor thing...so i gave her some meds and she drifted off to sleep...she still looked horrible when she got up...eyes still swollen and itchy...i think it's from all of this crazy wind we're having...stirring up the allergies...hopefully she'll be feeling better today but i've noticed that her eyes are already getting red....i guess today will be a slow day for us...staying inside for the most part (trying to keep her away from whatever it is she's allergic to)...

tomorrow is the big fishing trip....but i'll post more on that when i get back....
