playing a little catch up...

since i haven't blogged for about a week or so i just wanted to post a few things that have already passed....

first off, happy birthday to my wonderful husband...he officially became an oldie like the rest of us...lol...anyway babe i love you and think the world of you... (it's not like he reads this...but...well, one day i'll have this all in print and i can at least point at this line and tell him i gave him a shout out...one every 5 years should do it...lol...no really...he is actually the most awesomely, wonderful husband and father ever!!! and the fact that he can deal with me??!!! hellloooooooo....i bow down to all of his wonderfulness)

happy birthday to michelle!!!! yes, i know....14 days younger...blah blah...lol...hope you had a great birthday...and we girls kick ass in all things water sports related...even if we aren't tall enough to spike it over the net...

happy anniversary to my grandparents...ryan and i can only be so lucky as to be married for 50 some odd years...wow...i love you guys....i seriously don't know what i would do without you...go crazy i suppose...lol

hmmmm...other than that...we have a crazy schedule coming up...ashlyn starts dance next week...along with tumbling and soccer...then pre-k starts up in a few weeks...yes i know...it sounds jam packed...but honestly, it's not as hectic as it sounds...it's about one event per day...with everything except pre-k being just an hour or less...since we are at home for the most part i guess it would be like the "recess" part of our day...when real school starts i guess we'll start having to narrow down our activities...i have to say i'm pretty excited about soccer (though i know nothing about it)...the soccer mom in me is really starting to come out...this is so right up my alley...i can't help but be excited...i don't know what i would do if she decided one day to play softball or volleyball...lol.....

oh oh oh...speaking of sports...the olympics has been rocking my socks...women's gymnastics!!!! way to go nastia and shawn!!!!! poor alicia...oh and a big props to china...they were really awesome and talented...women's indoor volleyball...way to beat the italians...great game girls...women's beach...OMG hello...you girls rock the beach...um hello...michael phelps...like i need to say more..let's see....hmmm....badminton still rocks...oh and poor lolo....usain bolt is just way fast....usa softball is awesome and i can't believe they're talking about taking it out just because we're so good...oh and the mom that won silver in the 50 free(i think that's what her race was)...and well, that's all i can remember as of right now...but congratulations to everyone...i think just to be a part of the olympics is an awesome achievement...
