it's been raining here for the past few days and we haven't been able to get out and do much...so yesterday i let ashlyn get her rain gear on so she could go out and play in the rain...(her rain gear consisting of a rain jacket, crocs, an umbrella and her panties...lol...pants are overrated on rain days)....
getting ready to walk out in the downpour...
mom, look....it's pouring and i'm not even getting wet...well, kinda...
(mom is stationed on the nice, dry porch)
time to go in the backyard...it's less scary for some reason
it's really coming down now!!!!
time for a break....
drying out a little....
penelope is thinking we're crazy...at this point the poor thing was shaking like a leaf...
looking up at the clouds to see if she could see anymore rain coming...
really concerned that the rain might be over...
oops...my foot fell out of my shoe...mom, stop laughing....
time to jump...a little leap frog anyone??!!!
when will the rain come back??!!
i think i feel a few drops...
after that the rain came back...ashlyn played for a little while longer and then we went in so we could get nice and toasty...
