today is picture day...

and we all know how much i LOVE school pictures...lol

so i told ashlyn that she could pick out what she wanted to wear for school day...of course, being the girly girl that she is, she decided she wanted to go with (and i quote) "a dress and high heels"...lol...we went this weekend to look for something and she settled on sparkly silver shoes (you know like wizard of oz kind of sparkle but in silver...because it goes with more...well, that's what she said) and a dress i wasn't too thrilled with but ashlyn was happy with because it "covered her bottom when she bent over"...(because that's what all 4 year olds worry about)...anyway...yesterday we ran by the mall and she fell IN LOVE with another dress...so i told her she could have that new dress as long as we can take the other back...she told me that she would like to get the new dress but that she would like to keep the other dress to wear on a different day because she just "a dress kind of girl"....lol...i couldn't argue...so we got the dress and she picked out a bow to go with it...
