ashlyn "mom, did you know that dinosaurs lived on the earth a long time ago?"
me "yes"
ashlyn "we find their fossils..that's how we know they were here since they are extinct now"
me "that's right"
ashlyn "and did you know that extinct means...doesn't live here on the earth anymore?"
me "i sure did"
ashlyn "yeah...they used to live here like 25 years ago but after that they became extinct...that's a LONG time ago huh?"


nice considering she thinks i'm 22 years old....puts me right up there with those old dinosaurs..
