catching up....

i know i know...slacker...yes, this is what i am...especially when it pertains to keeping up with this blog...so let's see if i can condense the last few months to catch you up....(hopefully i'll keep up with the blog a little bit better)

ashlyn graduated preschool...i have to say it was pretty adorable...i can't believe she's growing up so fast...we are getting all geared up for kindergarten, which i am ridiculously nervous about...don't ask why...

ashlyn's 5th birthday has come and gone...we did it all up with a trip to disney...princess lunches...tea with the mad hatter...the whole 9 yards...ashlyn had a blast...we had the opportunity to see my aunt, uncle and cousin (who ashlyn fell in LOVE with) which was awesome...i hadn't seen them in years!

dance rectital was last month...when i get the video i'll try to post...it was too cute...ashlyn was in a tap routine and a ballet...i was backstage mom which was ridiculous!!! i'm so not cut out for that...but i do my best since ashlyn loves it...i even managed to lose the same kid twice (you guys remember that when i'm babysitting your kid!)

i got my iphone FINALLY!!! and of course a few weeks later the brand spanking new one comes out...oh well...(i know, not big news...but it is for me...lol and on top of that i found an app that will help me keep up with my blog...woo hoo)

hmmm...what else...?? right now we're going some projects around the house...i guess our crazy days weren't crazy enough...so we decided to add to the madness...of course after 5 years of being in this house it's about time we did something...

ashlyn is starting up her summer classes...we've gone back to gymnastics and she's still taking tap and has added jazz to the mix...it's too cute...she's so the opposite of what i was at that age...but i have to say it's fun to experience everything i never had a chance to...

well, i guess that's enough of a novel for now...updates to follow (hopefully)
