Fathers day gift

So today I took Little miss out to the stores so she could pick out a present for her daddy. I let her pick whatever she wanted. It was pretty sweet. First she took a minute to think about what dear old dad might like...what he's into, etc. She then remembered she saw that BK had pokemon cards in their BK kids meals so she immediately wanted to go there since dad is really into pokemon right now. (really into means he's playing the game on the ds, no books or cards or anything...yet). I told her that there wasn't a bk anywhere close (and knew she had alterior motives..kids meal) but I could take her to a store that carries the cards if that's what she really wanted to get him. She decided that would suffice so she went and picked out the perfect package of pokemon cards for her dear old dad. Afterwards, we headed to half price books so she could spend her little $3 gift card she got through their summer reading program. She went to the kids section and while looking found a how to draw pokemon book. So she decided she wanted to spend her gift card on that (instead of the books she had already picked out) so she could give it to her dad along with the cards. I thought it was so sweet that she put everything back because she thought Ryan would love the book. She is so excited to give it to him. I'll have to update after fathers day to see what Ryan thinks about the whole thing.
