yesterday amy managed to drag me off my butt and down to deep ellum to take some pics of the girls...mind you my love affair with my camera had gotten into a "honeymoon's over" phase...(yes, it's sad that 85% of my pictures lately have been taken with my phone...i know...and am now trying to make ammends...roses, new sd cards, fancy accessories, a flashy item or 2) so i dusted her off and headed on out...another thing about shooting with a phone camera is that you're pretty much just shooting in auto...press the button and you're done...so i decided to shake the rust off and went with full manual...omg...wow...talk about a lot of rust...lots of underexposed pictures (or overexposed if i forgot that i changed my location to a nice sunny patch versus that dark alley we were shooting in before)...so anyway...it turned out to be a fun day...
