keeping my fingers crossed for a great day...

today was the big day...the very first day of pre-k....ashlyn was so nervous...she really didn't want to go...i think her nerves got the best of her this year...she laid around all morning saying her stomach hurt...then she told me she was going to miss me...i swear it just broke my heart...i knew she would be fine if she could just get past her first day jitters...she loved school last year...so i told her to just give it a chance and then we could talk about it...

this morning...on the way in...with a concerned look on her face

she did fine going into class...we were a little late
but she stepped right in and started reciting the pledge...

circle time...who is that cutie on the right (her left)??? lol

i guess we'll have to wait and see how it went...i think once she gets settled in and acquainted with some of the kids that she'll do great...updates later...
